Check out my review of: Game of Love (Love in Bloom: The Remingtons #1)

NOTE: This is a "New Adult" novel. Due to mature content this title is recommended for ages 17+

Synopsis: Kate Parello runs a volunteer program in Belize for Artists for International Aid, where she deals with self-centered artists who use the program as a means to repair their marred reputations. She loves the country, the people, and what AIA stands for, but too many diva volunteers have turned her off to press-seeking celebrities altogether and left her questioning the value of the volunteer program. When she meets incredibly handsome and charming Sage, he stirs emotions she hasn’t felt for ages, even though he represents the things she despises.

Laid-back artist Sage Remington escapes his wealthy lifestyle in the Big Apple for a two-week journey of self-discovery to figure out how a guy who has so much can feel so empty. When he meets ultra-organized Kate, who lives her life the way he’s always dreamed of living his, the attraction is too hot to ignore, but Sage is there to figure out what’s missing in his life, not to find a woman.

Every look, and every late-night chat in the romantic jungle brings them closer together, but Sage can barely think past stripping away Kate’s misconceptions about him. Kate fights him every step of the way—even though she finds it hard to ignore the strikingly handsome, generous-to-a-fault artist who wants to do nothing more than right the wrongs of the world—and love her to the ends of the earth.

Review: 4 Stars - Stroke of Love is the second title in the Remingtons series by Melissa Foster.

This time around we get a chance to connect with another one of the Remington siblings, Sage who's an artist looking for something he feels is missing in his life. While trying to give back more than just writing a check he ventures to Belize to volunteer in the small village community of Punta Palacia. When he arrives he meets the program director Kate who has a huge heart and wants to do everything possible for the village she's called home for the last two years and it's people she's come to love who live there.

Kate feels strongly about the Aid she's contributing to and doesn't want anyone, including the celebrity volunteers who come to try to clean up their image at the remote location. Kate only wants to help and give Aid to those in need. She doesn't get attached to really anyone and yet when she meets Sage something changes for both of these characters.

Sage is attracted to Kate and her feisty attitude. And Kate puts Sage into the celebrity category of those who come for the publicity. It's over the two weeks that the two learn about themselves and each other that changes their lives for the better.

I loved Sage. There's something special about this character. He is caring, sweet, strong, creative and goes out of his way to help those around him. He knows he wants more and goes about finding a way to change the way he lives. It's through Kate that he finds a bigger meaning to his art and the art world as a whole, which watching these two figure things out along the way personally and professionally was icing on the cake for this title.

After reading the first in the Remington series – Game of Love I knew I'd love Sage and I was right which made me ready for more of these entertaining siblings.

I can't wait to see what's going to happen in the next installment – Flames of Love which features the only girl in the family – Siena, I can't wait to see how all these alpha male brothers take to their sister finding her own relationship.

I recommend this contemporary “New Adult” series to those who are looking for a great set of siblings to follow as we take a sneak peek into their lives. I enjoyed the first title and then the second even more and while these can be read as stand alone since they do focus on different characters with each title I do suggest that you read then in order as the stories and characters lives are very much intertwined together. I can't wait to dive right into Flames of Love soon. Enjoy!
