Happy New Year!

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! May 2011 bring you health, happiness and books! With a new year comes fresh starts and resolutions. For me, the New Year has always been somewhat sad. It's a time for me to look back on the year that's past and remember all the great things that have happened... but then I remember what's to come. What amazing things lurk right around the corners of a fresh new year.

To everyone who's out OR in celebrating the passing of another year, waiting to welcome 2011 in, no matter where you are, please enjoy and be careful!

So, with that... how is everyone celebrating this year? Has anyone made any resolutions for the 2011? Do you plan on keeping them? And, what are you looking forward to in 2011, any big or little plans?

  1. I'm celebrating by going to San Diego and partying with my cousins. :) We usually go to Vegas but our plans fell through for the year. Boo. What are your plans? ♥

  2. Happy New year to you too!

My only plans for the new year are to accomplish the book challenges that I've set out for myself, and to possibly go to a convention or two. I try to avoid resolutions the way most people do them, because I inevitably fail and just get disappointed in myself. :p

  7. Happy New Year! No resolutions for me -- I don't believe in making them. I'm looking forward to happy times with my family, fun with our new puppy (and not too many messes) and lots of great YA books to read this year!

  10. Happy New Year! I am excited to finish my manuscript in 2011, I'm also looking forward to exploring new education avenues in my life! As far as ringing the New Year in, I made homemade honey chipolte bbq chicken wings and my husband and I watched the Snookie ball drop!

My Ratings

When I review I rate from 1 to 5 stars, 5 being the highest rating. I review based on many different things from the writing, to the story - to the characters and how I can relate to them or how they are developed. I also review based on if an author has worked their magic and was able to draw me into a story so deeply that I don't want to put the book down. If you would like me to review a book, please contact me or view my Contact Information and Review Policy for further details.
