Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! May 2011 bring you health, happiness and books! With a new year comes fresh starts and resolutions. For me, the New Year has always been somewhat sad. It's a time for me to look back on the year that's past and remember all the great things that have happened... but then I remember what's to come. What amazing things lurk right around the corners of a fresh new year.
To everyone who's out OR in celebrating the passing of another year, waiting to welcome 2011 in, no matter where you are, please enjoy and be careful!
So, with that... how is everyone celebrating this year? Has anyone made any resolutions for the 2011? Do you plan on keeping them? And, what are you looking forward to in 2011, any big or little plans?

I'm celebrating by going to San Diego and partying with my cousins. :) We usually go to Vegas but our plans fell through for the year. Boo. What are your plans? ♥
ReplyDeleteHappy New year to you too!
ReplyDeleteMy only plans for the new year are to accomplish the book challenges that I've set out for myself, and to possibly go to a convention or two. I try to avoid resolutions the way most people do them, because I inevitably fail and just get disappointed in myself. :p
Happy New Year! No celebrating for me. Hopefully I'll be able to read :)
ReplyDeleteI have no plans just maybe curl up with a good book. As for Resolutions I have a big one - to quit smoking and I hope I can.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you too, Lisa! I'm in the process of making my resolutions now, lol.
ReplyDeleteHeh... resolutions. ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a rockin' 2011!
Happy New Year! No resolutions for me -- I don't believe in making them. I'm looking forward to happy times with my family, fun with our new puppy (and not too many messes) and lots of great YA books to read this year!
ReplyDeleteMy resolutions are to write, continue working on my blog and read, read, read! I plan on keeping these resolutions. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHappy New YEar! May this year will bring joy to you too!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! I am excited to finish my manuscript in 2011, I'm also looking forward to exploring new education avenues in my life! As far as ringing the New Year in, I made homemade honey chipolte bbq chicken wings and my husband and I watched the Snookie ball drop!
ReplyDeleteI had trouble reading your list (light blue on blue background) but it looks impressive.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
