Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

Wishing you and your families a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all!

This has been a crazy year for my family and I and we're really looking forward to see what 2016 brings.

To our readers, new and old - thank you for taking the time out to read our posts. Having you there means a lot to us and we can't wait to share with you even more about the books and authors we love.

And with 2016 will come a few changes. I'm looking to take a step back... just a bit from the blog to focus on my writing. I'll be looking for a couple more readers and book fans to contribute, so if you're interested please send me an email and lets talk!

From us here at A Life Bound By Books, we wish you and your family a safe and happy Holiday season. If you're traveling, please be careful and take some time out to enjoy the little things during this busy time.

From our family to yours.....

Happy Thanksgiving!

I can't believe another Thanksgiving is here.

Where has the time gone?

This year is a bit different for my husband and I and my family. We're getting ready to leave for the UK in a huge move. So for this years Thanksgiving we'll be spending it with my family here before having to say, what will be a difficult "Good-Bye". It won't be forever, but just for now as we take a leap on our next adventure.

So this year I'm thankful for more. So much more.

My family means the world to me and they understand our need to try to give living in the UK a go and because of this I'm so much more thankful for the time I get to spend with them, the laughs, the tears... every bit of it.

Skype and FaceTime will be our friend during this move. And I'll be back and forth for a bit doing immigration stuff so the true move for me won't happen until sometime next year. So baby steps all around will be appreciated.

I'm also thankful for all the words, books and authors behind them. I'm thankful for my book-ish friends and my blog readers - new and old. I'm thankful for everything big, but mostly the little things in life as they seem to make the biggest impact on our lives.

I hope that this Thanksgiving is a great one for you. Those who celebrate and those who don't will be in my thoughts. I hope you all have a wonderful day filled with family and friends, good food and those little things that make the world a much better place.

Be safe if you have to travel and remember, you can always go back for a midnight snack!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We'd like to wish everyone, here in the states, or those around the world that are celebrating a VERY Happy Thanksgiving!!

Every year we have so much to be thankful for and this year it's all about YOU! I'm thankful for the readers and authors who have followed the blog and those of you who have become friends. I'm thankful for everyone I've met at signings and for friends and family - New and old.

It's easy to be thankful for things throughout the year and not take the time out to acknowledge just what each of us are thankful for... so be sure to take a minute or five everyday to make sure those around you know just how much they appreciated.

Be safe if you have to travel and enjoy a day filled with good food, family and friends!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Merry, Merry & Happy Holidays!

Wishing you and your families a very Merry Christmas! If you are traveling, travel safe. I hope you all have a wonderful time with friends and family, near and far. Here's to a happy and healthy holiday filled with lots of people close to you and lots of good food too! I hope that Santa stops by each of your homes and leaves you gifts of all shapes and sizes. Oh and lots of good books too!

I'll be spending Christmas Eve and day a bit different yet again this year. After over 30 years of traditions, ours are continuing to evolve. It's still so hard to change something that's been such a huge part of our holidays, but we're having fun with the changes as they come and it's always a wonderful time of the year to make new traditions. We're having one of our big Christmas get together on the 24th and I can't wait to see the girls - wee and mini and bud our nephew open all their presents! It's going to be a fun crazy, filled Christmas Eve and Day.

Oh and I get my hubby for 12 days again this year and I'm looking forward to spending some much needed down time with him. Nothing like taking some time off during this time of the year. Speaking of time off, things around here on the blog will be a bit slow until after hubs goes back to work. There will be a few posts here and there, but it'll be much quieter than usual. Posting will start to resume normally after January 2nd, 2014.

To you and yours, have a wonderful time!

Merry Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving!

While I'm thankful for my family and friends, both near and far, both in real life and online... I try to express just how thankful I am more than just this one day each year. It's important to me that everyone knows, even you my awesome readers that I am thankful for you each and everyday.

So, while I'm spending my day with family I'll be thinking about each and every one of you with the hopes that your day is wonderful. That it's filled with everything to make this holiday a special one.

To each and every one of you who celebrates, I wish you and your family the best Thanksgiving this year and many, many more years to come. If you have to travel, please stay safe and warm.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm thankful for many people and things. With everything that happens in life - through the good and the bad - I'm always thankful for the family and friends who stick by me. It's not just during Thanksgiving that I remember them, but throughout the whole year. As it should be. Being thankful for those people just once a year isn't enough to show and share how much they mean to me, so I make sure to remind them as much and as often as I can.

Along with those people close to me in "real life" I'm thankful for, I'm also thankful for each and everyone of you, who make blogging that much more sweet. I appreciate you, near and far.

To all who celebrate Thanksgiving, I wish you all a wonderful day filled with amazing food, family, friends and if you're traveling please be careful during this busy time of the year.

Happy New Year!!!

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! While I had many things happen in 2011, I'll be looking forward to 2012. While looking back at the year past and looking ahead to a brand new year, I wanted to take a minute to wish each and everyone a happy, healthy AND safe New Year!

New Year's has always been a bit sad for me, so I tend to stay in. Watching a few movies, reading and having some good food with family and friends is usually how we spend the day and evening - low key. The passing of a new year might be a bit sad for me, however, I always take a moment to reflect. To see all the things I've overcome and welcomed throughout the last 365 days. It's always nice to be able to think about all the amazing possibilities that are held in the new year and all the many things I have to look forward to.

For New Years, I'd love to hear your plans and what you might be looking forward to in 2012. Do you make resolutions? Would you like to share them with us?

Be SAFE Everyone!

24 December 2011

I can't believe it's another Christmas/Holiday Season! How time flies! It feels like I've blinked and another year has passed.

I wanted to take the time to wish each of you a wonderful Holiday and a Very Merry Christmas! I hope that you'll all be spending time with family and friends - making new memories. Whether your traditions are old or new, I wish nothing but the happiest of Holidays to you all.

I'll be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas day with family and friends and I can't wait to see them all during this special time of year. Mexican food for Christmas Eve and Ham dinner on Christmas Day, yum! I'm thankful that this year we won't have to do as much driving as we did last year, but please.... if you have to travel during these days, be careful out there.

While I'll again be wishing for a white Christmas here in sunny Southern California, I know my wishes will go unanswered. I'll settle for cold/cooler weather that'll require a warm cheery fire. Shorts and flip-flops, optional.

As mentioned last year, some of my best memories are from this time of year. I'm always looking forward to revisiting memories of the past and making new ones. What is everyone planning to do during the winter Holidays? Any memories or traditions you'd like to share with us?

Happy New Year!

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! May 2011 bring you health, happiness and books! With a new year comes fresh starts and resolutions. For me, the New Year has always been somewhat sad. It's a time for me to look back on the year that's past and remember all the great things that have happened... but then I remember what's to come. What amazing things lurk right around the corners of a fresh new year.

To everyone who's out OR in celebrating the passing of another year, waiting to welcome 2011 in, no matter where you are, please enjoy and be careful!

So, with that... how is everyone celebrating this year? Has anyone made any resolutions for the 2011? Do you plan on keeping them? And, what are you looking forward to in 2011, any big or little plans?

Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas!

I just wanted to wish everyone Happy Holidays and a Very Merry Christmas! I hope that each of you are enjoying time with friends and family and that Santa is good to each of you!

Here, in sunny Southern California, we'll be dreaming of a white Christmas, that'll sadly never happen... so we'll settle for cooler/cold weather where a roaring fire in our fireplace won't require wearing shorts and t-shirts to enjoy it! lol

I'll be spending both Christmas Eve and Day with family all over So. Cal and am more then looking forward to seeing each and everyone of them. If anyone has to travel like I do, please be safe.

Some of my best memories are from this time of year and I can't wait to make some new ones. What about each of you? What are your plans for the Holidays? Also, do you have any special memories from previous years that you'd like to share with us all?
