John Green's first novel, Looking for Alaska, won the 2006 Michael L. Printz Award presented by the American Library Association. His second novel, An Abundance of Katherines, was a 2007 Michael L. I did not get the chance to see the movie, but I did read the book! One of my favorite quotes was when Augustus told Grace that it would be a privilege to have his heart broken by her
ReplyDeleteI would have to say when they visit the Anne Frank House. Everything about it was perfection and the kiss was super sweet! Sigh.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, the movie was amazing! I think my favorite part was when Gus is driving with Hazel! XD Then in the plane scene where the plane starts to shake and Gus freaks out and Hazel says something about it being like his driving! XP
ReplyDeletei loved the egg scene!! thanks so much for the contest!
ReplyDeleteI actually have not seen the movie or read the book. I'm always waaay behind the popular, so I'm just finally getting caught up. I'm hoping to read the book this weekend ;) I'm a stickler for reading the book 1st and then watching the movie. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the movie or read the book yet but I really want to!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the film nor read the book...yet :) I do like the movie soundtrack though!
ReplyDeleteGus driving with Hazel. Haha! Totally can relate.
ReplyDeleteI liked how true they stayed to the entire book. They used phrases straight from it, and it was perfect.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite moment is when Hazel says that she fell in love with Augustus the way you fall asleep: slowly at first, then all at once. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the movie yet. But I would love to see the scenes in Amsterdam.
