Synopsis: Reaching for sunlight...

Finn survived the ambush and came home to me, but in his head, the battle is still raging. He’s falling apart and I’m trying my best to pick up the pieces of him, to find the us we used to be. I love him as much as I ever did, but love isn’t enough to fix this. I thought telling my father about our relationship would be the hardest thing we’d ever have to face. I was wrong.

Lost in shadows...

All I wanted was to be worthy of Carrie. One mission, just one, and I’d be able to give her the future she deserved. Then everything went wrong, leaving me tainted and broken. Carrie wants me to be who I was, but all that’s left is what they made of me. I’m no good for her. No good for anyone like this. I have to figure out how to move forward. Alone.

Sometimes love isn’t enough…

Top Ten Reasons Why Readers Love Finn

I get a lot of tweets, emails, Face Book posts, messages, and everything else under the sun from readers about Finn, the hero from my New York Times Bestselling series OUT OF LINE. The last book, OUT OF MIND, just hit stores, so I thought it would be fun to highlight the most common reasons people love Finn!

A little bit of background, for those of you who haven’t read the books. Finn is a surfing, motorcycle riding, cursing, tattooed, Marine…who also starts out the series as Carrie’s undercover private security. Oh, and he’s hot. Which brings me to…

The top ten phrases/sentences I see about why people love Finn.

1. He’s HOT. Like, really, really, really hot.

2. He’s alpha male, and protects Carrie. I want a guy like HIM to protect me. Actually, I want HIM.

3. TATTOOS. He has TATTOOS. For CARRIE. I WANT!

4. He rides a Harley. Need I say more?

5. He’s a Marine. Marines are HOT.

6. He surfs, and teaches Carrie to surf. He’s so patient with her, and such a great teacher. I LURVE him.

7. He knows how to take a bad guy down, but deep down he’s the sweetest guy on earth. Like, ever. Does a guy like him exist in the real world?

8. That Christmas scene. GAH!

9. He loves her so much, and they never doubt each other. They’re so loyal, loving, and trusting. So refreshing!

10. I LOVE HIM. Can I have him?

Have you read the books? What was your favorite thing about Finn?
