In My Mailbox (31)

It's time for another week of In My Mail Box - here's a look at all the great books that arrived on my doorstep either by purchase, trade or for review. It's hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren. As always, thanks so much for hosting it Kristi!

Well, last week was really slow when it came to books, so I just took the couple that I got and added them to this week's IMM. So, here's what I got:

Purchased:

Winter Longing By: Tricia Mills

For Review:

Numb By: Sean Ferrell
Forbidden By: Tabitha Suzuma
John Belushi Is Dead By: Kathy Charles
Being Jamie Baker By: Kelly Oram
Dark Song By: Gail Giles

A Huge thanks goes out to Sean & HarperCollins, Tabithia & Random House UK, Kelly Oram, Simon & Schuster and Little Brown!

Won:

Sleepless By: Cyn Balog
(again another second copy! I had traded Jenn for this and then won a copy from Random Buzzers 2-3 days later. Another contest book)

Traded:

Nightshade By: Andrea Cremer
(Not pictured - this is a second copy, I had traded this one with my friend Natalie from Mindful Musings 2 days before my review copy arrived here. This just might be getting added to a contest coming up!)

Gifted:

Clockwork Angel By: Cassandra Clare
Ghost Girl By: Tonya Hurley (signed!)
A HUGE Thanks goes out to Kelly from DemonLover's Blog for picking up extra copies of these for me while she was at ComicCon - you rock Kelly!

So, that's what I got this week... what about you guys? What did everyone get?

  7. Oh, "Forbidden"! I've wanted to read that book since I first heard of it, but I suspect it'll be a while before I'm able to afford a copy. I'm looking forward to reading your review of it, though!

  9. I haven't heard good things about Dark Song. Shame too because the cover is pretty! Isn't it funny how life works that way sometimes? Every time I make a trade offer I ask myself what if the publisher does decide to send me a copy for review?

My Ratings

When I review I rate from 1 to 5 stars, 5 being the highest rating. I review based on many different things from the writing, to the story - to the characters and how I can relate to them or how they are developed. I also review based on if an author has worked their magic and was able to draw me into a story so deeply that I don't want to put the book down. If you would like me to review a book, please contact me or view my Contact Information and Review Policy for further details.

3 Stars - I liked it/Was pretty good.
2 Stars - It was, eh okay.
1 Star - It just wasn't for me.
