Check out - The Young Elites Website

Synopsis: I am tired of being used, hurt, and cast aside.

Adelina Amouteru is a survivor of the blood fever. A decade ago, the deadly illness swept through her nation. Most of the infected perished, while many of the children who survived were left with strange markings. Adelina’s black hair turned silver, her lashes went pale, and now she has only a jagged scar where her left eye once was. Her cruel father believes she is a malfetto, an abomination, ruining their family’s good name and standing in the way of their fortune. But some of the fever’s survivors are rumored to possess more than just scars—they are believed to have mysterious and powerful gifts, and though their identities remain secret, they have come to be called the Young Elites.

Teren Santoro works for the king. As Leader of the Inquisition Axis, it is his job to seek out the Young Elites, to destroy them before they destroy the nation. He believes the Young Elites to be dangerous and vengeful, but it’s Teren who may possess the darkest secret of all.

Enzo Valenciano is a member of the Dagger Society. This secret sect of Young Elites seeks out others like them before the Inquisition Axis can. But when the Daggers find Adelina, they discover someone with powers like they’ve never seen.

Adelina wants to believe Enzo is on her side, and that Teren is the true enemy. But the lives of these three will collide in unexpected ways, as each fights a very different and personal battle. But of one thing they are all certain: Adelina has abilities that shouldn’t belong in this world. A vengeful blackness in her heart. And a desire to destroy all who dare to cross her.

It is my turn to use. My turn to hurt.

Character Profile: Adelina

Adelina Amouteru is a survivor in more ways than one. Not only did she survive the blood fever, which took her left eye and turned her black hair an ever-shifting shade of silver, but she also survived years of abuse at the hands of her father.

When she’s taken in by the mysterious Young Elites, she is introduced into a world of other people like her – marked and powerful – but can she trust them? Or, like her father, are they simply using her for their own gain?  Dangerous and uncontrollable, Adelina’s powers will affect the future of the Young Elites in unpredictable ways.

Interview with David from the Suddenly Series

Nichole Chase: Hi David. Thank you for coming out!
David: Thank you for having me.

Nichole Chase: How are you adjusting to Lilaria?
David: Everyone is so friendly. It’s been easy. Except for the language. Thankfully most of them are willing to speak English or are patient with me as I fumble through Lilarian.

Nichole Chase: Any cultural transitions?
David: Not really. Or I’m just not noticing that I’m doing something wrong. *laughs*

Nichole Chase: I understand you grew up on a farm in the state of Georgia. I currently live in the South. Is there anything you miss from home?
David: Peach cobbler and shorter winters.

Nichole Chase: There is something special about a good peach cobbler. Is there anything you like about Lilaria better than back at home?
David: Things just have a different feel here. I wouldn’t say anything was better, just different.

Nichole Chase: I know you’re currently heading several programs in the Future Bird Trust. Is it weird to be working for Princess Samantha? You’ve been friends for a long time.
David: I don’t know that I work for her, as much as I work alongside her. We’ve speared headed several of the newer programs together. Thankfully, I have more hands on jobs with the animals.

Nichole Chase: I have a few questions to ask you from the readers. Would you mind?
David: Go ahead.

Nichole Chase: Your favorite animal?
David: Owl.

Nichole Chase: Favorite sport?
David: Baseball.

Nichole Chase: Do you prefer movies or books?
David: I love to read, but nothing beats a good zombie movie.

Nichole Chase: Thank you for coming out! Please tell Princess Catherine that we send our regards.
David: Absolutely. And if you ever want to visit one of the FBT programs, let me know.

Nichole Chase: I will! That sounds like fun.

Author: Jennifer Iacopelli
Publisher: Coliloquy, LLC, (May 1st, 2013)
Add to: Goodreads
Order here: Amazon, Barnes and Noble

NOTE: This is a "New Adult" novel. Due to mature content this title is recommended for ages 17+
Synopsis: Nestled along the coastline of North Carolina, the Outer Banks Tennis Academy is the best elite tennis training facility in the world. Head Coach, Dominic Kingston has assembled some of the finest talent in the sport. From the game's biggest stars to athletes scraping and clawing to achieve their dreams, OBX is full of ego, drama and romance. Only the strong survive in this pressure cooker of competition, on and off the court.

Penny Harrison, the biggest rising star in tennis, is determined to win the French Open and beat her rival, the world’s number one player, Zina Lutrova. There’s just one problem, the only person who’s ever been able to shake her laser-like focus is her new training partner. Alex Russell, tennis’s resident bad boy, is at OBX recovering from a knee injury suffered after he crashed his motorcycle (with an Aussie supermodel on the back). He's hoping to regain his former place at the top of men’s tennis and Penny’s heart, while he’s at it.

Tennis is all Jasmine Randazzo has ever known. Her parents have seven Grand Slam championships between them and she’s desperate to live up to their legacy. Her best friend is Teddy Harrison, Penny’s twin brother, and that’s all they've ever been, friends. Then one stupid, alcohol-laced kiss makes everything super awkward just as she as she starts prepping for the biggest junior tournament of the year, the Outer Banks Classic.

The Classic is what draws Indiana Gaffney out of the hole she crawled into after her mom’s death. Even though she’s new to OBX, a win at the  Classic is definitely possible. She has a big serve and killer forehand, but the rest of her game isn't quite up to scratch and it doesn't help that Jasmine Randazzo and her little minions are stuck-up bitches or that Jack Harrison, Penny’s agent and oldest brother, is too hot for words, not to mention way too old for her.
Who will rise? Who will fall?

Told from rotating points of view, GAME. SET. MATCH. is a 'new adult' novel about three girls with one goal: to be the best tennis player in the world.

Read my Review: The Only Exception

NOTE: This is a "New Adult" novel. Due to mature content this title is recommended for ages 17+

Synopsis: **Due to sexual content and heavy subject matter, this book is recommended for ages 16+**

Fiercely liberal Monica Remy prefers to blend in. Despite her tattoos, piercings, and outspoken personality, she transferred to Central to escape—before she finds out that her next door neighbor is the uber conservative governor's son, Trey Chapman.

No matter how hard she tries to avoid Trey, he still finds a way to get under her skin. Monica can’t stand his crisp white shirts or his staunch views on women. But she can’t help counting every freckle on his face and wondering what it would feel like to have him stop talking politics and kiss her.

A class debate project forces the unlikely pair to work together, and the political lines are blurred in late-night make out sessions. But despite their fiery chemistry, Trey’s politics threatens to smother their relationship for good.

Character Profile:

Name: Trey Reagan Chapman
Age: 19
Birthday: May 22nd
Favorite Color: Blue
Childhood Ambition: To be president or Captain America
Favorite Food: Duck a L’orange
What Actor would you cast to play in a movie about your life: I'm not really good at knowing which actor plays who, but Monica said she thinks Colton Haynes could possibly fill my Oxford shirts.
How would you spend your ideal Saturday night?
Sitting on the couch, watching the nightly news and eating leftover chinese with my girlfriend. Exciting? Probably not, but it doesn't cause problems and that's how I like it.
Favorite Movie: All The President's Men
Favorite Song: Born in the USA by Bruce Springsteen
How many tattoos do you have?
None. Don't mistake that as me saying that I am against them, I just personally chose not to have them.
One thing no one else knows about you:
If I told you, then wouldn't it be known? That's the thing about being thrust in the spotlight, if you don't let the world know your baggage, they are going to find it anyway. It's better to be an open book then to have it exposed on the nightly news.
Quote: “When you can't make them see the light, make them feel the heat."- Ronald Reagan

And a little teaser to get to know Trey Chapman and his appearance

He kept his big grin on his face. "The one."
I should have recognized him right off the bat. He and his brothers were like a constant shadow during the governor’s campaign. All three Chapman boys stood behind him with their sandy brown hair and tight-lipped smiles while the future governor discussed his plans for a new Illinois. One that included a new contraception bill, his pride and joy, that changed the usual liberal, Chicago politics of Illinois and had women’s leagues up in arms. It didn't mean he stopped his precious bill and just said it was “what was best for his state.”
Of course I only got a brief glimpse of Trey Chapman when he was on TV, but I didn't remember him being this attractive. Or having so many freckles. I had to shake that thought out of my head. I couldn't let one guy with a dimpled smile phase me. He was the governor’s son for God’s sake.
