Torn between two men…
When I woke up after the accident, I couldn’t remember anything from the last year—including my relationship with Max Hallowell or anything about Nate Crane. Now my memories are returning, but instead of answering my questions, they’re leaving me with more.
The man who broke my heart and wants to be my future…
Max is all I ever wanted, and now he wants to marry me. He’ll do everything he can to fill my life with love, family, and security. I need those things now more than ever. But can I trust him?
The man who stole my heart and wants to let me go…
Nate never made me promises, and I never asked him to. I’d been on the rebound, looking for a distraction, and he made me feel beautiful and wanted when I needed to feel those things most. He says he has to let me go, but what if I can’t let go of him?
With every revelation and every passing day, I feel more like Alice down the rabbit hole. I’m falling. Who will catch me?
Review: 4 Stars - Fall to You is the second mind twisting title in the Here and Now series from author Lexi Ryan. The flash backs continue throughout the story to further unravel what happened to Hannah leading up to the accident which left her with a year she couldn’t remember.
This trilogy is a must read. It’s filled with everything to keep a reader hooked and then some. There’s romance, mystery, angst and heartache all wrapped up in characters that are memorable with writing that keeps the story flowing from beginning to end.
The first book Lost in Me - left me in a daze. I had a huge book hangover and it’s one of those stories that you need more of right away. The characters are all so twisted together. There’s so many layers that Ryan has weaved into this trilogy that just when you think you know what’s going on, or you might have a clue to what’s going to happen next in the story, you'll receive another shock that you didn’t see coming.
It’s the characters and their lives and how well Ryan has them intertwined into each other. They all have so much going on yet there’s never too much to make you feel bogged down or that you’re missing something. It’s easy to read these two in one sitting back to back and trust me, you won’t be disappointed or want to put them down.
The two love interests couldn’t be more different from one another and while I do have one I’m rooting for over the other I’m scared my hearts going to break with the choices Hannah has to deal with in the next book, which will be the conclusion to her story.
These characters each have their own emotional scars and trouble they are dealing with. The bigger picture with what’s happening for each of the three in this ultimate triangle is bubbling just under the surface and with the ending of Fall to You… I can just sense things are about to explode!
In the end, I loved it. I need the next book bad, bad, BAD! These books are thrilling will leave you gasping for breath and in this one maybe even break your heart all over again. I did in fact shed some tears in the first book and then again in the second and there was a point where I didn’t want to continue because the emotions that were coming off of Hannah were more than breaking my heart, they were smashing it to bits and pieces. So, yeah, I recommend this title to fans of contemps that’ll leave you guessing and ready for more. These titles are great for fans of “New Adult” and please don’t let the love triangle put you off. There’s so much more to this story than just that. Go grab them and read, read READ! The third book – All for This is out in August of 2014!
About the Author:
Once a college English professor, I now write full time. I live in rural Indiana, where, when I'm not writing, I get to hang out with my husband and two kids--a six-year-old boy and a two-year-old hellion, er, girl. Not surprisingly, reading and writing remain my favorite activities, though both come in bits and pieces these days, not the big hunks of time I enjoyed before I had children. When I'm feeling virtuous, I like to go running (I use that word liberally. I'm really, really slow) or do yoga. Don't worry, I'm always careful to balance out such activities with a hearty serving of ice cream or a chocolate martini.
