Hey everyone! Today I'm SUPER EXCITED to spotlight and fangirl over an amazing author - Toni Aleo! She writes one HECK of a team of hockey players in her Assassins Series and then has tackled some strong issues in her stand alone title - Let it be Me. I have loved the Assassins Series when they were originally self published and couldn't have been more happy for her when she was picked up by LoveSwept/Random House. If you haven't read anything by Toni I just have to ask... What the heck are you waiting for?
Oh and I wanted to mention that I don't normally talk about or feature books above "New Adult" on my blog but every once in a while there's an author or a book(s) that needs to be in the spotlight here and Toni and her books are defiantly spotlight worthy...

Check out my review of: Empty Net (Assassins, #3) By: Toni Aleo
Synopsis: Opposites do more than just attract in Toni Aleo’s latest Nashville Assassins novel about a very bad boy and the good girl he can’t resist.
The instant Piper Allen sees Erik Titov, she wants him—wants his rock-hard body, sure, but the strength and mystery that lies behind that superstar hockey jock demeanor, too. So when he sidles up to her at a bar and slinks his arm around her waist, she’s lost. What follows is the wildest night of her life . . . followed by inevitable heartbreak the next morning. And then, a few weeks later, a very big surprise: two blue lines on a pregnancy test.
Only a check to the head could make Erik fall for a nice girl like Piper. But since their crazy-sexy night together, he’s been trying to forget about her alluring body by falling into bed with every woman in Nashville, and it’s not working. So when Piper shows up at his house with a baby-bomb to drop, it doesn’t take much for Erik to suggest the nuclear option: marriage. While it’s supposed to be all for show, the second they say “I do,” the ice between them starts to melt into sizzling steam.
Includes a special message from the editor, as well as excerpts from these Loveswept titles: Taking Shots, Trying to Score, and Empty Net.

Synopsis: Do you see that woman there?
The one with long, wavy blond hair and blue eyes that used to sparkle?
That’s me, Violet Moore.
Do you see those men over there?
One is my husband, Rob.
A man who claimed he loved me, but proved his fist loved me more.
The other is Tucker McCloud, my savior and confidant.
I'm torn between what's right and my own fear.
But not anymore.
I’m taking my life back now.
I will fight back.
I will be happy.
Lucas: I told my valentine that there was a bed upstairs, go get naked.
Erik: I bought my girl a spa day, then I got us a babysitter and I don’t plan on leaving our room until we have to go get the little guy.
About the Author:Find Toni Online:
I am a wife, mother of two and a bulldog, and also a hopeless romantic.
I am the biggest Shea Weber fan ever, and can be found during hockey season with my nose pressed against the Bridgestone Arena’s glass, watching my Nashville Predators play!
When my nose isn’t pressed against the glass, I enjoy going to my husband and son’s hockey games, my daughter’s dance competition, hanging with my best friends, taking pictures, scrapbooking, and reading the latest romance novel.
I have a slight Disney and Harry Potter obsession, I love things that sparkle, I love the color pink, I might have been a Disney Princess in a past life… probably Belle.
… and did I mention I love hockey?
