Book Wars a weekly feature hosted between two book review blogs – A Life Bound By Books & Much Loved Books!

It’s a fact that book lovers know all about the covers of the books they covet.  Often when a title is released here in the US, it’s sometimes vastly different across the pond in the US.  So, Michelle from Much Loved Books and I have come together to create Book Wars to talk about the difference in covers when it comes to the US vs. UK versions.

We hope from time to time authors will chime in with their thoughts as well. We welcome everyone to comment and share their thoughts too! The more the merrier!

Before we get to this weeks Book Wars, we have a winner to announce. The Book Wars winner for Night Owls/The Anatomical Shape of a Heart By: Jenn Bennett is.....  !  Thank you to everyone who voted for both books, and for picking a winner.

Also, there's a poll at the bottom of the post that we'd love to hear your input for the two covers! Tell us which one YOU love the most.

Synopsis: One moment of recklessness will change their worlds

Smart. Responsible. That's seventeen-year-old Breanna's role in her large family, and heaven forbid she put a toe out of line. Until one night of shockingly un-Breanna-like behavior puts her into a vicious cyber-bully's line of fire—and brings fellow senior Thomas "Razor" Turner into her life.

Razor lives for the Reign of Terror motorcycle club, and good girls like Breanna just don't belong. But when he learns she's being blackmailed over a compromising picture of the two of them—a picture that turns one unexpected and beautiful moment into ugliness—he knows it's time to step outside the rules.

And so they make a pact: he'll help her track down her blackmailer, and in return she'll help him seek answers to the mystery that's haunted him—one that not even his club brothers have been willing to discuss. But the more time they spend together, the more their feelings grow. And suddenly they're both walking the edge of discovering who they really are, what they want, and where they're going from here.

Let the Wars Begin: Its now time to make our decision, let's see what we think about the covers and pick our favorite cover.

Lisa This week we have the second in author Katie McGarry's Thunder Road series. And when you take a look at these two books they couldn't be more different from one another.

And the more I look at the UK cover, the more it draws me in. I think it's the colors and tones that "speak" to me. However, the US cover looks so much more polished and the bridge and the colors of this one are really pretty amazing.

It think I could get lost in the US cover, which is getting my vote for this week! Which one do you like best? Give us a quick click below and let us know.
Michelle I have seen both of these covers before, but not together. Looking at them side by side it's very easy for me to pick my favourite.

The UK one looks nice, but to me it feels like it's been done before, that it's just another cover with a boy and girl leaning against a car. The US cover though I really like.

I love the scenery in the background, how the cover model is walking away, it makes me want to know where is he walking to or from. I also love the font they used for the cover, I think it fits better with the theme of the series itself.

Its a US win for me this week, don't forget to cast your vote below.
