"Waiting On" Wednesday is an event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. The purpose of this weekly event is to spotlight a soon-to-be-released book that you are very much anticipating. "Waiting On" Wednesday will also give bloggers an opportunity to share ideas for our TBR lists.

Title: Winter Longing
Author: Tricia Mills
Pubisher: Razorbill, 272 pages (August 19, 2010)
Preorder here: Amazon, Borders, The Book Depository

Synopsis: When Winter’s boyfriend is killed in a plane crash in the Alaskan wilderness, she’s robbed of the future she’d only just allowed herself to believe might be hers. Winter and Spencer had been destined for one another. And after his death, Spencer’s presence continues to haunt her.

But when her next-door neighbor becomes an unlikely friend, Winter begins to accept all that she can’t change. Can she open herself to a new future . . . and a possible new love?

With many books, the cover calls to me. Sometimes they even scream my name. This one did that for me. I love this cover. After staring at it's pretty-ness for awhile I got around to reading the synopsis and fell for the idea of this book and story even further. This was another book I've added to my ever growing preordered list. What about you? Does this sound like a book you want to read? Have you preordered it?

  4. Heartbreak and romance - love this combination for stories. Thanks for sharing this! I'm looking forward to a new book release coming out tomorrow. The title is "Her Mother’s Diary," and from what I read in the description the story centers around a woman who came from a wealthy family getting involved in the dark world of drugs. Her parents are murdered by the drug lords and now she has to find money her mother had hidden before they do. Be sure to check it out. Looks like a great mystery thriller!

My Ratings

When I review I rate from 1 to 5 stars, 5 being the highest rating. I review based on many different things from the writing, to the story - to the characters and how I can relate to them or how they are developed. I also review based on if an author has worked their magic and was able to draw me into a story so deeply that I don't want to put the book down. If you would like me to review a book, please contact me or view my Contact Information for further details.

5 Stars - I LOVED it!

2 Stars - It was okay.
1 Star - It just wasn't for me.
